The purpose of "The Freeport Legacy Project" is to illuminate and celebrate the history, cultural richness,  of the community of Stephenson County, fostering awareness, pride and a deeper understanding of the region's diverse heritage. We look to Strengthen Social Bonds, Increase Cultural Awareness and Diversity. The Economic benefits of promoting local businesses by working with local venues, the project can contribute to Economic Development and Revitalization.
